Privacy Statement

Last updated: May 2026

1. Introduction

Trapizo, Inc. ("Trapizo," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard users' personal information when users access the Trapizo platform — including when users browse vehicle listings, submit purchase offers, set buying criteria, or access the Seller Portal. By using the Platform, users agree to the practices described below.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information users provide directly to us and information generated through users' use of the Platform:

  • Account Information: When users create an account, we receive the user's name, email address, and profile image from their identity provider.
  • Vehicle Offer Data: When Buyers submit a price offer on a specific vehicle listing (a "VIN Offer Lead"), we store the vehicle identification number, Buyer's submitted price range, and a timestamp.
  • Buying Criteria: When Buyers set general vehicle buying criteria (a "Criteria Lead"), we store Buyer's stated preferences (make, model, price range, mileage, features, etc.).
  • Watchlist & Activity: We store vehicles users bookmark and general Platform activity to provide and improve the service.
  • Usage Data: We automatically collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL).
  • Payment Information: Credit purchases are processed exclusively through Stripe. Trapizo does not store or have access to users' payment card numbers or bank account details.

3. How We Use User Information

We use the information we collect to create and maintain accounts, display vehicle listings and personalized content, record submitted offers and buying criteria, connect Buyer leads with Sellers who have purchased the applicable credit unlock, process credit purchases, enable in-Platform messaging, send transactional communications, maintain Platform security, and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not use user information to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell users' personal data to marketing companies or data brokers.

4. How We Share User Information — Lead Disclosure Rules

Trapizo operates a two-tier lead system. The type of lead users generate determines exactly what information is disclosed to a Seller.

VIN Offer Leads (Direct Offers on a Specific Vehicle)

When Buyers submit a price offer on a specific vehicle listing, that submission creates a VIN Offer Lead. If a Seller purchases a credit to unlock that lead, Trapizo will disclose only the Buyer's full name, email address, submitted offer price range, and the associated VIN. This disclosure is made only to the Seller whose inventory includes the specific vehicle Buyer submitted an offer on.

Criteria Leads (General Buying Criteria)

When Buyers submit general vehicle buying criteria, that submission creates a Criteria Lead. If a Seller purchases a credit to unlock a Criteria Lead, no personal contact information is shared. Buyer's name and email address are never disclosed. The unlock grants Seller the ability to initiate a message to Buyer through Trapizo's internal messaging system only.

In no case does Trapizo share Buyer contact information with any party other than the specific Seller authorized by Buyer's own direct offer submission. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer users' personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Messaging & Communication

Trapizo provides an internal messaging system. Sellers may initiate messages to Buyers only when authorized by a lead unlock. All messages are stored on Trapizo's servers to operate the messaging feature. Trapizo administrators have the ability to view all messages sent within the Platform for purposes of investigating formal user complaints and responding to lawful legal requests.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use session cookies to maintain users' authenticated sessions and remember their preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or behavioral advertising technologies.

7. Data Retention

We retain users' account information and activity data for as long as their account is active or as needed to provide the service. If users close their accounts, we will delete or anonymize their personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect users' personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction — including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed session tokens, and access controls on our database.

9. Children's Privacy

The Trapizo Platform is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. User Privacy Rights & Choices

Depending on the user's jurisdiction, users may have rights regarding their personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about them. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Platform.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party service providers for functions such as user authentication, payment processing, and vehicle listing data. These providers operate under their own privacy policies. Trapizo selects providers that meet appropriate data protection standards.

12. Changes to This Statement

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Users' continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated statement.

13. Contact Us

If users have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Statement or how we handle users' personal data, please contact us at support@trapizo.com. We are committed to working with users to resolve any concerns.
